Your Clubs accepts the most generous offer from Jon “ThunderLungs” Lunberg; a Giant in voice and Giant in the history of organized drag racing.  In an act of complete selflessness Jon once again come forward to help a good cause.  For those that know him it will come as no surprise. 

Jon has a bio that you have to read a few time through.  In fact just to get the reality that one person could have worked so hard at a motor sports career takes a few passes to grasp.  Jon did all this and managed to not only reach the top but help so many others on their way up.   Jon is by far the most valued asset our anti street racing programs events have at this point.  Every aspect of what it takes to be a success he has not only already heard about, buy he has worked his way through time and time again.  Take a look at just a brief time line about just one aspect of his storied career:

Accomplishments:
•     Announced national and regional events for every sanctioner (AHRA, ATAA, IHRA, NASCAR, NHRA, UDRA, VRA).
•     Multi-year contracts to announce major national and independent events:
1963-73 AHRA – Full Schedule
1963-87 March Meet, Bakersfield, CA
1965-73 Super Stock Magazine Meet
1969-81 Popular Hot Rodding Magazine Meet, Martin, MI
•     Aftermarket career has encompassed roles as participant/owner of three companies, being elected by peers to three terms on the SEMA Board of Directors and serving as consultant on many business development projects.

 Lundberg currently resides in Oro Valley, Arizona, with wife Sandra.  Jon studies with the American Society of Appraisers to achieve ever-higher certification as a Personal Property appraiser of unique, exotic and racing motor vehicles – his current enterprise.  To date Lundberg has written value opinions for more than 200 such units.  He also very much enjoys an extended family which includes seven offspring, thirteen grandchildren and his first Great grandchild.  At 70, life remains a participant experience for Jon “Thunderlungs” Lundberg, the Voice of Drag Racing.

As we continue to build the program for the main event, I am formally asking each of you that will be featured in the main events to send me a brief bio.  Keep it short and sweet.
Include a little about you, your age and how long you have been into the track racing format any event titles you have won.  Include the brief bio of your car, its year, mods and power adders.  Also include your best time sheet stats.

Jon retired his voice from full time track events for good reason so please lets all work together to help him prep for our event so he can save his voice and give us every moment he can.  If you all send in your bio information now he can save much stress later.  Please include a picture of your car.  Thanks!
