The SRTConnection approached Your Clubs LLC in Mid November, 2007 with the idea of putting together an event that would bring all modern Mopar enthusiasts together in one place for some racing and car show fun. The intent was to orchestrate an event that will grow into an annual event. With your participation, the Rumble in the Desert event will continue to grow bigger and better each year thanks in part to ALL of you.

The Rumble in the Desert II was made possible by the generous sponsorship Tempe Dodge provided with the New Chrysler in support of the Your Clubs LLC anti-street racing campaign. Your Clubs teamed up with G.A.M.E. (Goins Auto Motorsports Enterprises) to provide real track events combined with car shows to those that are willing to take it to the track rather than risk lives on the street. We’re extremely happy to receive their support and look forward to continued success in our future events with them.
The Tempe Dodge Rumble in the Desert II was produced by Your Clubs after Hal Volkert of the SRTConnection requested help for an event that suddenly found itself with no organizer or sponsors. With only 67 days to work with, Your Clubs, Tempe Dodge , and the New Chrysler were able to provide Firebird International Raceway for January 19th 2008. Hal Volkert and the SRTConnection provided web advertising, forum support, and sponsorship for the event.
Now that those 67 days have passed, the sun has set and the Tempe Dodge Rumble in the Desert II was a very successful event thanks to the following supporting vendors, friends, sport stars and even a local Police officer.

Friday afternoon in yet another tragic and senseless string of events, our state lost long time Civic leader former State Legislator Cal Holman 76. Calvin served the residents of Arizona from 1975 to 1985 in the state legislature.
Cal had a passion for politics and it continued after his retirement, it continued in fact until he was tragically lost in a horrific crash that involved two motorists striking his classic white 1973 Camero. |

Your Clubs is happy to announce we are working to include Sports Legends Prostate Cancer Projects to all of our events. I hope you will sign up here for a screening at the Tempe Dodge Rumble in the Desert II. This important effort was started by Gene Felker a long time sports figure and a prostate cancer survivor.
Gene started out in the NFL as a tight end for the Dallas Texans. |
